Dear colleagues,

A new edition of International Conference of Young Researchers in Language Teaching and Linguistics (CEDIL) will take place from the 25th to the 26th of June 2026 at the Grenoble Alpes University. Workshops led by Phd students from the LIDILEM laboratory will be held on June 24, 2026.

This scientific event, held every four years, provides an opportunity for useful discussions within the international young research community as it allows them to access to the scientific network of their field as well as to discover new methodologies of work (data collection and data processing, providing evidence-based corpora etc.). This event also contributes to the training of young researchers while encouraging real scientific progress.

This sixth CEDIL edition will be devoted to “Language learning and linguistics : Developments, Challenges and New Perspectives”. This theme provides the perfect venue to discuss and debate a wide variety of epistemological, theoretical and methodological issues in language learning and linguistics, in the areas of linguistic description, language teaching, language acquisition or sociolinguistics.
