The PhD students and junior researchers of the laboratory of linguistics and first and second language didactics -LIDILEM- are pleased to organise the 6th edition of the International Conference for Student Researchers in Language Didactics and Linguistics. This scientific event, held every four years, provides a unique opportunity for exchange and networking for PhD students and early-career researchers from France and the international community.
For this 20th anniversary edition of CEDIL, the organising committee wishes to highlight the advances made in the field of language sciences, explore the diversity of ongoing research, and outline current perspectives. Three key words underpin our reflection: trends, challenges, and new perspectives.
The chosen title illustrates the panoramic vision we aim to provide for this edition. The presented works will offer an overview of the research conducted by junior researchers in language sciences. What are the focus areas of current research? We invite early-career researchers in language sciences to present their research, to share their questions and findings, whether they fall within a specific discipline or adopt an interdisciplinary approach. The 6th edition of the CEDIL conference will reflect the diversity of language sciences by welcoming contributions in sociolinguistics, linguistic anthropology, computational linguistics and automatic language processing, language didactics, language acquisition, discourse and interaction analysis, cognitive linguistics, neurolinguistics, phraseology, syntax and morphosyntax, semantics, semiotics, diachronic linguistics, and many other approaches. The diversity of current research topics presented at the conference will help illustrate the trends, challenges, and new perspectives in language sciences.
In addition, PhD students from the LIDILEM will offer a series of Workshops on 24 June. These sessions are meant to provide a space for methodological reflection and encourage sharing of tools and research practices. Prior registration is necessary, since the number of participants will be limited.
